How To Schedule a Quickpickup
A Quickpickup is best used for shipments that contain multiple packages or pallets of the same size, and do not require a rate quote. The Quickpickup screen must be enabled at the user level under User Manager in order to be able to access the feature. It can only be used with directly connected, non-broker, carriers.
In the Settings menu, navigate to Quickpickup
Select your carrier and service from the drop-down menu.
Enter the pickup location and shipment availability window.
Enter the destination address into the Ship To field. The address can be entered manually or selected from the address book.
Note: Quickpickup is optimized to use minimal shipment details for faster processing time. The front end of the user interface will only display the ship to zip in Quickpickup. The full ship to address will be passed to the carrier on the back end.
If there are multiple destinations for a single carrier, click Add New. A new shipment details field will be created where the second destination can be entered.
Once all destination details have been entered, click Submit. The pickup confirmation number will be shown in the Pickup Number field. It is important to record the pickup confirmation number once it is generated. It will only be displayed in this window. It will not be saved in History or if you navigate away from the page.
Your shipment is now scheduled for pickup!
