Customer Configuration Email

Users can now specify their own email for use with basic communications from FreightPOP such as Spot Quotes and emailing shipment documents. This email will be used for sending all messages from FreightPOP, both internal and external. The purpose of the customer configuration email is to prevent notifications from being blocked by the recipient’s server or firewall due to being sent by an unknown sender. It is highly recommended that a dedicated email such as TMS@companyname.com be created and used for this feature. IT assistance will be necessary for setup.

  1. Create a dedicated email to be used for communication purposes from FreightPOP. IT assistance may be required.
  2. Under the Company page, locate the Email module located in the lower left of the page.

  1. Enter the required credentials and click Save Changes.
