To activate ABF, you will need you ABF user login and password and your Secure ID.
- In order to receive your Secure ID, log into your ABF account and complete the API Registration from by clicking the below link.
Once you log in, go to the menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and Choose Resources → APIs
Enter the requested credentials and choose, “View API Key.”
You should receive your Secure ID once the registration is completed
One you receive your Secure ID, log into FreightPOP and go to Settings → Carrier Management.
Click on the LTL tab under Carriers and select ADD next to ABF.
You will need to enter in the following information:
-Carrier Nickname
-ABF username
-ABF password
-Secure ID (provided by ABF)
- Billing zip code. This will determine if the system will automatically assign shipments prepaid, or 3rd party. Any shipments shipping from the address or zip code entered will be prepaid.
*NOTE- Be sure to assign “users” to this carrier as well from the blue user link included in the window below or from User Manager
