1. When you have received an error message that indicates a shipment could not be processed due to a blank contact name, you may receive an error that looks like the one below. (Ex: specific to the Carrier Averitt Express)

  2. The first thing we need to check is the Ship From and Ship To forms. There is a field where we need to enter an “Attention to Name”. You can open the form by clicking the highlighted icons below.

  3. Please enter a contact name for the Attention to Field highlighted in the image below. You may need to preform this step for both the “Ship To” and “Ship From” addresses

  4. Once the name has been entered, please scroll to the bottom of the form and click the “Save” button.

  5. After you have saved your changes, you will now receive rates. To see this update, please click the green “Refresh Rates” button. If you do not receive rates after completing these steps for a “Contact name cannot be blank” error message, please contact support@freightpop.com.
